How to Provide a Template & Data for Your Custom Personalized Video Project
To ensure a smooth and efficient process for your custom personalized video project, please follow these steps when providing your template and data:
Step 1: Provide Your Video Template
Your template is the foundation of your personalized video campaign. You can either:
Use your own video – Provide a video file that we will use as the base for personalization. This can be done by submitting two versions of your video if possible. One as a completed example (so we understand clearly where the data points go) and a second version with blank placeholders so we input your data.
Or request a custom template – If you don’t have a video, we can create one for an additional fee. Fill out this form and we can get you a quote. Please provide a script, brand assets, and any design preferences.
Template Requirements:
Video format: MP4 or MOV (1080p high resolution is preferred)
Length: Typically 15-90 seconds
Clear empty placeholders for personalization (A completed example is also helpful)
Brand guidelines if we are designing the template (logos, fonts, colors, and any required elements)
Step 2: Provide Your Data for Personalization
We customize your videos based on the data points you provide. This could include names, dates, locations, images, or any unique customer details.
Data File Requirements:
Format: CSV or Excel file
Column Headers: Clearly label each data point (e.g., “First Name,” “Company Name,” “Image File Name,” “Discount Code”)
File Size: Ensure all necessary data is included but avoid unnecessary columns
Media Assets: If your personalization includes images, videos, or audio (e.g., headshot photos, product images, replaceable video, or spoken names), please provide separate folders for each type of media. All file names should match the data in your spreadsheet. All images should be cropped with the same width and height. All videos should be at the same resolution. Please convert all media assets to these files formats: Images (JPEG or PNG), videos (MP4), and audio (MP3).
